Two Blocks and $10

aka Our adventures during Book Expo America in New York City.

We arrived in New York City on Monday and since Naomi was born in New York the city was nothing new to her. Renee and Monie on the other hand were acting like the typical tourist taking pictures every few feet. The best part of the visit is that every native New Yorker swears everything is just two blocks away and the taxi rides are just $10. Come to find out two blocks is about six blocks and $10 taxi rides are more like $20. But being the troopers they are Renee and Monie figured it out and had some really great adventures seeing the sights along with meeting wonderful new authors and scoring lots of books.

See our Facebook page for some of our pictures.
